Successes and Failure

One of the most intriguing question people put to themself is what is success or what is failure ? I was contemplating this for a while, and in the same, I think it depends upon the characteristic of a person. There are two kind of people 1. Those who look inward (basically a higher notch for the introvert) 2. Those who look outward ( they are the one who put locus standi on finding lacunas in others ). Those who inward define success as removal of any fault element within themself and those who are outward looking they put success as becoming something or gaining in material domain. Who is right or who is wrong? We really dont know. Its an antagonistic perspective possibly between indic and western civilization. To provide glimpse of indic concept let me quote Dinkar here - 

जीवन के परम ध्येय सुख को सारा समाज अपनाता है , 

देखना यही है कौन वहान तक किस प्रकार से जाता है ? 

है धर्म पहुंचना नही, धर्म तो जीवन भर चलने मे है ,

फैला कर पथ पर स्नगधि ज्योति दीपक समान जलने मे है ,

यदि कहैं विजय, तो विजय प्राप्त हो जाती है पापी को भी , 

सत्य ही दारा धन जन मिल जाते है पापी को भी, 

इसलिये ध्येय मे नही धर्म तो सदा निहित साधन मे है, 

वह नही किसी प्रधन कर्म, हिंसा विग्रह या रण मे है ।।
