The first and the foremost requirement is to have a attitudinal shift and making community to feel about the preservation of historical sites. ASI can not do this mammoth task alone and a long 150 yr of experience of ASI shows that a top down approach has not provided a desired result. So a complete paradigm shift is required and community as a whole has to take minor or major responsibility in providing a conducive environment for flourishing of this industry.
